The city has a reputation for its natural beauty, as reflected by its name meaning “snow-covered mountain”. The city is located on the northwest coast of the Canadian province of British Columbia. It is near the mouth of the Fraser River.

Why go to Vancouver by ferry?
People often ask themselves if they need to travel by car. Traveling by car can be tiring and time-consuming, especially when you have to drive for hours every day. But nowadays, people have started using ferries as an alternative to this kind of transport.
Ferries offer many advantages for travelers:
-The distance between the departure point and arrival point is shorter than it would be if you traveled by car;
-A ferry journey usually takes less time than a long journey by car;
-You can use the journey to rest, read or work on your laptop;
-It is also a good option if you don’t want regular routes that are served daily.
Ever had the opportunity to take a ferry across Canada? I hadn’t either until I went to Vancouver with my family. It was an adventure in and of itself.
We drove for 5 hours, and then took a 2-hour ferry ride before arriving at our destination. We had a great time playing games on the ferry, watching for whales, reading books, and talking to other passengers about things like their travels. Plus there were informational videos on the TV screens about all kinds of wildlife which we learned from during our journey.
It was different from driving or flying but it was worth it!
