For those RV enthusiasts who want a one-way trip from Washington or Oregon up into Alaska or for those who are coming down from Alaska into Washington or Oregon, there is no need for an RV parking spot at your destination terminal

Can you take a ferry from Seattle to Alaska?

The answer to this question is a big “maybe.” Some people think that the only way to get from Seattle to Alaska is by plane. There are two options — taking the Alaska Marine Highway ferry or taking a cruise ship. The Alaska Marine Highway ferry is the cheaper option and the trip will take about 6 days. Cruise ships are more expensive but they get you to your destination quicker — just 4 days long.

Is there a ferry from Prince Rupert to Alaska?

There is currently no ferry from Prince Rupert to Alaska. If you are looking for a ferry service from Prince Rupert to Alaska you will have to take the BC Ferries. The closest ports are in Haida Gwaii (Skidegate) and Victoria BC (near Vancouver).
